Microsoft’s vision: combine Xbox and Windows 10: Microsoft will update its Xbox One game console with Windows 10, bringing Xbox and Windows together for the first time and making it easier for developers to create games with more flexibility.
The idea is for gamers to use Xbox Live as a hub for their gaming experience across both platforms. Games, DLC, achievements, friends lists—all of it will transfer seamlessly between Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs.
With Microsoft unifying all its software, the same skepticism and potential roadblocks overshadowing the success of Windows 10 are present now with Xbox too.
